Steve Jobs hated Flash for his own reasons, one of those was performance. iOS does not support Flash. Android platform supporting Flash used it to differentiate. No more. Ice cream sandwich (Android 4.0) will be the last OS with Flash. It is interesting that Adobe initiates the breakup and announces "HTML5 the best solution for creating and deploying content in the browser across mobile platforms.”
