• 100,000 units ordered first day
• Estimated 2.5 million pre-orders has been made already
• Amazon is on track to sell 5 million Kindle Fires this holiday season

To fill the demand Amazon has increased orders from supply chain from 3.5 to 4 million and now bumps it up by another million.
