Mobile shopping ups eBay profits

This month companies are reporting their quarterly financial results. eBay reports shows it is riding the wave of mobile shopping. eBay CEO John Donahoe said he expected to see $10bn in mobile transactions for payments and ecommerce businesses this year, which doubles 2011 numbers. He was quoted “Mobile is becoming the digital nexus of consumers’ lives. They want what they want when they want it. There’s no question an inflection point is occurring in retail”.
