Apple said it recorded 1 million iPhone 4S's per-orders in a single day, easily passing the previous record of 600,000 iPhone 4's that was the company's previous pre-order record.
International release made the number much higher that if it would be US-only. iPhone 4S will roll out worldwide to 22 more countries by the end of October including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Interestingly no BRIC or major Asian countries made the list.
